Advantage: Billing and Reimbursement Specialist

We're currently seeking a Full-Time Billing and Reimbursement Specialist for our Corporate Office in the scenic South Hills area of Pittsburgh. This position will be a hybrid position with a minimum of 2 days in office each week.

About the Role

As our Billing and Reimbursement Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to act as the liaison between the facility and payment parties. You will have the responsibility of working directly with a variety of insurance companies. You will ensure the provision of the highest quality of billing for our company, while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

• Hospice billing for private insurers, managed care and Medicare billing
• Hospice Collections for private insurers, managed care and Medicare billing
• Required to work in Medicare site for billing and collection purposes
• Required to run reports to maintain current AR, collections and reporting to management

Home Health billing and collections

• Electronic submission of claims for Medicare (FISS) claims and non-Medicare payers
• Manual submissions
• Able to verify insurance and receive authorizations of insurance claim

About You

• Home Health and Hospice Billing experience preferred
• Experience with HHA Exchange, HMO, MMA, Medicaid and Medicare
• Coordination of Managed Care Billing
• Experience with Insurance Company Authorization Requests
• MatrixCare experience preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
