Allegheny Ophthalmic and Orbital Associates, a private surgical practice located on the Allegheny General Hospital campus, is seeking a full-time billing and authorization associate. Responsibilities include preparing charges for posting, account analysis and collections, obtaining prior authorizations for surgeries and procedures, and discussing balances and other billing matters with patients. The candidate should be professional, courteous, and detail oriented. Insurance guidelines change frequently so the billing and authorization associate should embrace learning and keeping apace of industry changes.
