Advanced Personal Care is Hiring a Billing Specialist Near Pittsburgh, PA
The primary purpose of this position is to handle billing responsibilities, as well as posting payments from insurance companies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bills insurance companies and patients on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis.
- Regularly post payments to insurance companies.
- Handles any discrepancies that occur with payments and re-bill, if needed.
- Processes all Accounts Receivables (posted against patient's account).
- Ensure that bills are sent to the patient and/or secondary insurance.
- Calls insurance companies to rectify any claim issues that may occur.
- Runs Accounts Receivable reporting.
- Appeals billing denials when necessary.
- Closely work with clinicians on the visit process.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
