Qualifications:
2 years of experience in HVAC installations with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory: Your experience will provide a solid foundation for performing replacements of various HVAC components such as air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, ductwork, thermostats, and more.
Type II EPA Certification: This certification is essential for handling refrigerants safely and responsibly, which is a crucial aspect of HVAC installation work.
Excellent customer service skills: Your strong desire to exceed customer expectations will be instrumental in providing superb service and building positive relationships with clients.
Minimum Tool Requirements and Testing Equipment usage: Having the basic hand tools and testing equipment necessary for HVAC installations will enable you to work efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
As an HVAC Installer at Coolray Heating and Cooling in Southern Kentucky, your responsibilities will include:
Installing and replacing HVAC equipment, such as ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas or heat pump), rooftop package units (gas or heat pump)
Ensuring the company vehicle is in good working order and properly stocked with parts, tools, and safety equipment
Traveling to job sites in the service area, working with dispatch to maintain schedules, and communicating any delays to customers
Designing duct systems for optimal comfort and efficiency
Engaging in conversations with homeowners to uncover concerns or interests related to their AC system, potentially leading to accessory sales or new system replacements
Understanding the company's pricing program and generating appropriate customer invoices and paperwork, processing credit card payments on-site
Participating in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies
Coaching and mentoring apprentices and entry-level installers to help them develop their skills and knowledge
