We are seeking a passionate and skilled Office Manager with a proven track record of overseeing Human Resources and administrative functions, contributing significantly to the success of our foundation. You will be responsible for managing daily office operations, ensuring compliance with all government requirements, facilitating training programs, and overseeing human resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate daily administrative activities to ensure smooth operations.
· Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
· Manage office supplies, and equipment, ensuring a well-maintained and organized workspace.
· Stay informed about and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
· Handle the preparation and submission of necessary documents for government reporting, permits, and licenses.
· Liaise with legal counsel to address compliance-related matters.
· Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
· Manage the recruitment and hiring process, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
· Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions for new hires.
· Provide ongoing training to ensure staff members stay updated on industry best practices.
· Oversee personnel records, leave management, and performance evaluations.
· Address employee relations issues and collaborate with the Board of Directors to resolve any conflicts.
· Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgetary requirements related to office operations.
· Assist in the preparation of financial reports for the Board.
· Monitor and approve office-related expenses.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
· Solution focused with proven experience as an office manager or in a similar administrative role for a minimum of 5 years.
· Strong knowledge of government regulations and compliance requirements.
· Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
· Budget management and financial acumen.
· Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt to changing circumstances.
· Proficient in office software and productivity tools.
· Passion for the nonprofit sector and a genuine commitment to our mission.
· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules, with advanced notice.
Compensation is based on experience.
