About the Role:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of three neighboring restaurants. Your duties will encompass thorough cleaning of bathrooms, dining rooms, and common areas, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for both guests and staff.

Location: Downtown St. Augustine

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Thoroughly clean dining areas before and after restaurant hours, including floors, tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as entryways, waiting areas, and staff break rooms.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables from all areas efficiently.
  • Handle cleaning chemicals and supplies safely according to established protocols.
  • Inspect areas for maintenance needs and report any issues to management promptly.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with restaurant management and staff to ensure that all areas are cleaned and ready for business.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical condition and stamina to handle the physical aspects of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
