Nomi Network is Hiring a Development Administrative Assistant Near Dallas, TX

The Development Administrative Assistant will have the opportunity to join our dedicated, mission-motivated Development team and perform various duties such as providing support for the Director of Advancement, performing donor research, maintenance of donor records, leading donor appreciation efforts, and regular reporting of donor activity. The Development Administrative Assistant also assists in donor database management, communications, presentations, and event management.
Location: Primarily remote with a requirement to access Nomi Network storage or work from the office is a preference.
Office address: Dallas, TX.
Position status: Full time, non-exempt.
Reports to: Sr. Giving & Events Associate.
Schedule: M-F, 40 hours/wk.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Transformational Gifts in the areas of scheduling, follow-up, transcribing meeting notes, and meeting preparation.
  • Perform donor research for the Director of Transformational Gifts and Development Lead to identify viable leads for funding.
  • Support Sr. Giving and Events Associate with various administrative tasks related to donor development, such as data entry, donation reporting, and donor communications.
  • Manage the organization’s donor appreciation process including brainstorming gift ideas, sending out thank you cards, mailing donor gifts, and managing the gifts budget.
  • Support the management of donor database (Salesforce), ensuring that database is up-to-date with donor records, contact information, and donor management updates.
  • Support the Sr. Giving and Events Associate in executing the annual Summit event. Tasks will include. researching vendors, supporting sponsorship outreach and follow-up, drafting communications, registration assistance, travel booking, creating collateral and signage.
  • Support in the preparation of Board of Directors related documents.
  • Provide administrative support to the development team in the execution of events and campaigns, including assistance with bulk mailing and email blasts.
  • Other duties as assigned by Sr. Giving and Events Associate.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associates degree.
  • Proven ability to learn new software technologies.
  • Proven ability to edit and produce professional, aesthetically appropriate written content on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Previous administrative or similar experience.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Salesforce, and data analytics.
  • Event planning experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • The position functions in a normal office environment that requires the ability to successfully interface with standard office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and telephones.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, and occasionally climbing stairs are typical activities in this role.
  • Talking (expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word) and hearing (perceiving the nature of sounds) are required.
  • Clarity of vision (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print) is required.
  • The ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs is required.
