Meridian Group, Inc. is Hiring a HR Business Partner Near Atlanta, GA

This key Human Resources Business Partner role will help provide technical guidance in all functions of the Human Resources department and support across all business units of the company, focusing on excellence in execution and customer service. As an HR professional team member, they will provide thoughtful guidance and counsel to functional leaders and provide individual coaching to employees. They will assist with the identification, development, and implementation of key messages for all levels of the organization while working to improve internal HR operations and communication in the areas of benefits, retention, project management, employee relations, coaching and employee development. This is a customer facing role and a new position.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 Works closely with the VP of HR on setting individual and HR team objectives and tracking progress.
 Interpret employment law and stay current on trends and changes to keep the organization compliant.
 Collaborate with operational leadership in the design and implementation of company policies.
 Develop, monitor, and execute recommendations on key HR metrics.
 Participate and lead key HR initiatives across the organization.
 Provide concierge service and develop strategies to meet employees’ needs, while fostering an environment
for improved employee self-service.
 Assess, develop, and deliver needed communication to various audiences across the organization.
 Assist with change management as HR delivers technology and services in a rapidly changing employee centric environment.
 Act as a coach/mentor for emerging leadership across the organization.
 Build engaging relationships with employees and stakeholders through trust, teamwork, and communication.
 Independently facilitate training and development on various Visiting Nurse Health System needs.
 Work closely with the VP of HR to develop employee strategies and support company values which include DEI initiatives.
 Perform transactional processes within the HCM system including data entry.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: master’s or bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting an organization with 200 employees. Proven work experience as an HR Operations Manager, HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar role. Ability to develop clear and fair company policies, excellent analytical and decision-making abilities, excellent written and verbal communications skills, team management and coaching skills.
Health care experience preferred but not required.
Certification: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR Certification Preferred, but not required.
Knowledge/Training: Working knowledge of federal, State, and local employment regulations, including FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, workers compensation, EOO, FLSA.
Hands-on experience with Human Capital Management Systems.
Experience with performance management, compensation, and benefits.
Computer Skills: Must have basic knowledge of computer technology, Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HCM Systems, and usage of email and other communication software.
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.
