About The Role:
• Lead the implementation and change management of employee engagement programs.
• Provide coaching and development to employees and people leaders while ensuring adherence of company policies, contributing to a positive employee experience.
• Proactively engage with business functional units through all people matters including organizational design strategy, employee relations, performance management, risk mitigation and culture initiatives.
Primary Objectives:
• Build and maintain influential relationships through being a strategic partner with management and an advocate for employees.
• Be a role model leader and an advocate of change, building organizational trust and promoting a positive workplace environment, partnering, and communicating with leadership on trends.
• Manage People initiatives, interpret and apply policies.
• Review, interpret, administer, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and company policies/procedures partnering with the People Team and legal on any agency change responses.
• Lead employee relations and keep a pulse on happenings both big and small within the organizations you support.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Develop and execute positive employee relations initiatives.
• Coach employees and managers on correct interpretation and administration of Company policies.
• Manage and coordinate promotions, internal transfers, and other employee changes.
• Lead employee-level investigations and all employee relation mediation matters.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management.
• Support the leave of absence process in partnership with the benefits team and management to include team member accommodations, communication, etc.
What We Are Looking For:
• 4 years' experience working on a team of HR professionals in an HR Business Partner capacity or similar.
• Experience collaborating or leading the implementation of a People Program (engagement surveys, performance reviews, etc.).
• Individual must be highly strategic and adaptive while being able to understand root cause and build connection.
• Coaching and facilitation expertise and the ability to influence colleagues at all levels of the organization.
• Experience supporting business leaders on multi-year company or org-wide people initiatives or projects.
What will Make You Stand Out:
• Proven record of accomplishment of successfully aligning People strategies with business objectives, fostering positive employee experience, and contributing to organizational success.
• Expert in strategic talent management, effective employee coaching, and a comprehensive understanding of the employee lifecycle.
• SPHR/PHR or similar certification highly preferred.
