Summary

Accounts Payable is responsible for all accounts payable functions of the company, including but not limited to processing invoices, cutting checks, reconciliation of vendor statements, and monthly Accounts Payable accruals. Provide support to the accounting department and assist as needed.

Skills and Abilities

• Accounts Payable prefers three (3) or more years of working experience in the Administrative ProTec
• Extensive knowledge of accounting, management principles, and accounts payable procedure
• Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and other office management tools and applications.
• Ability to analyze information and process
• Motivation to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
• Self-starting capabilities, and the ability to work unsupervised.
• Commitment to the company’s financial legislation.
• Must be task-oriented and able to follow standardized work instructions in a structured environment
• Must be able to handle many items simultaneously while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Physical Abilities: Requires sitting for extended periods of time, walking, bending, reaching, carrying, and occasionally lifting and or moving objects up to 25 pounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for accounts payable (AP) activities as the accounting manager directed.
• Receive and distribute incoming accounts payable invoices and related documents for approval.
• Establish new vendors in accordance with company policies.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies between purchase orders, work orders, receipts, and invoices
• Prepare and process vendor payments on a scheduled basis.
• Management and reconciliation of multiple credit card accounts.
• Maintain A/P files.

Compensation:

Monday-Friday; 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
