Luxury Rentals Miami Beach is Hiring a Human Resources Coordinator Near Miami, FL

Job Overview

Luxury Rentals Miami Beach is a leading luxury vacation rental company in Miami. We match impeccable service with a diverse portfolio of luxury properties for our guests to choose from. With over 10 years of experience, we are passionate about all things travel and hospitality.

The ideal candidate is a professional who will complete administrative duties for the human resources department of Luxury Rentals Miami Beach and will provide assistance with and facilitates the human resource process. They will assist managers with recruitment, maintain employee records, process payroll and provide administrative support to the Head of Human Resources. We are looking to employ an HR Coordinator with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. An HR Coordinator is expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will have excellent administrative and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

To ensure success, HR Coordinators should display strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and HR best practices. Top candidates will be fantastic at managing conflict, effective at scheduling, and thorough in the recruitment process.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Share the common concept – people who believe in treating others as we would have them treat us.
  • Assist with all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
  • Files and maintains employee records.
  • Process biweekly payroll
  • Keeps track of employee information, including an employee's name, address, job title, compensation or tax withholding information, and benefits.
  • Assists with documentation concerning grievances, terminations, absences, and performance reports.
  • Assists with new employee background and reference checks.
  • Provides current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and other work-related information.
  • Develops recommendations for improvement of the organization's personnel policies and practices.
  • Plans new employee orientations to foster positive attitudes toward organizational objectives.
  • Assists with the processing of terminations. Conducts exit for employee termination.
  • Ensures staff is kept informed of all changes and updates within the company.
  • Assists with prepping and providing all management-needed documents for all performance reviews and processes.
  • Assists with recruitment.
  • Posts job openings, gathers information from applicants, verifies prior employment, contacts references, and informs applicants of hiring decisions.
  • Performs clerical functions.
  • Continuously strive to improve skills and increase knowledge.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • And any other duties needed to help fulfill our Mission and abide by our Organization’s Values.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and by telephone.
  • Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Management of personnel resources.
  • Ability to learn multiple computer software and accurately input information into the systems.
  • Ability to work cohesively with colleagues both within and outside of the department.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up efficiently.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts as needed - days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Observant and detail-oriented, able to coordinate and multi-task job duties in a busy environment.
  • Must possess a professional demeanor and presentation and be personable and enthusiastic.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to function under pressure, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Requires attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Monitoring / Systems Analysis / System Evaluation.
  • Active Learning / Active Listening.
  • High Level of Social perceptiveness & Social Skills - involves being aware of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do.

Ideal Candidate Possess

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related (Ideal)
  • 2 Years of Experience as an HR Coordinator (Essential)
  • High Degree of Analytical Abilities
  • Exceptional Computer Skills with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
