Our comprehensive services include renting, selling, installing, and removing a wide range of mats for various industrial applications. In addition to our mat services, we provide Site Work Services, Equipment Services, and Logistics solutions. As our company is experiencing rapid expansion, we are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeping Assistant.

```Job Overview```
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Assistant, you will provide essential support to our office operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of our organization. This is a key role that requires strong bookkeeping and administrative skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

```Duties```

  • Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
  • Assist with financial report writing and analysis
  • Handle accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using double-entry bookkeeping principles in QuickBooks Online
  • Assist with corporate accounting tasks, including account analysis and reconciliation
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to support various projects and initiatives
  • Provide administrative support to executives as needed

```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in financial report writing, accounts payable, double-entry bookkeeping, corporate accounting, account analysis, payroll, tax, and account reconciliation
  • Background in construction-related programs preferred.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines
