Director of Operations – Specialized Surgery Group, San Francisco

Location: Full-time, on-site, San Francisco

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Director of Operations to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of our clinic, ensuring that our facility runs efficiently and that we provide the highest quality care to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of clinic operations, including patient care, leadership of team members, and administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for a healthcare professional who is passionate about healthcare and wants to make a significant impact in a leadership role.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring all activities comply with legal regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Mentor and lead staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and helping staff achieve their career potential.
  • Monitor and manage the clinic's budget, ensuring resources are used optimally.
  • Oversee patient satisfaction and resolve any concerns.
  • Ensure that the clinic is updated with the latest healthcare technology and trends.
  • Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and improve communication.
  • Promote a positive and supportive work environment for all team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership/management position within a healthcare facility.
  • Proven experience as a Director of Operations or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in using healthcare software and computer systems.
  • Ability to make decisions in high-stress situations.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving healthcare services.
