Successful entrepreneur is looking for a Director of Operations to own the day-to-day execution of their life. You will manage their household staff which consists of personal assistants, chefs, cleaners, and a trainer to ensure everything is running efficiently, oversee travel and the three residences with the primary being based in San Francisco, and partner with financial advisors and other important stakeholders to manage special projects. A strong operator who can take ownership of projects independently and has exceptional communication skills. Previous experience in a corporate, startup, or similar environment is highly preferred. Must be based in the Bay Area with the ability to go to the residence as needed in SF. 165-215K DOE Responsibilities:
Deliver consistent high-quality service acting as a strategic business partner to the principal.
Partner with the principal's professional advisors.
Evaluate performance of current household operations and develop a scalable, flexible model to accommodate growing, complex needs while proactively addressing future challenges.
Responsible for hiring and managing all household staff and contractual employees.
Organize calendar.
Oversee and develop budgets for household operations, projects, and capital expenditures.
Organize domestic and international travel arrangements including ground transportation, private jet travel, meetings, accommodations, and meal arrangements. Proactively addresses challenges.
Oversee transitions/changes and implement sound judgment when dealing with conflict resolution.
Display privacy and confidentiality in all matters.
Liaise with principal's personal contacts and handle personal matters.
Work alongside attorneys, CPAs, and family office team to form new entities and business ventures
Structure operations for household and new business ventures
Negotiate contracts such as fractional jet ownership
Oversee real estate purchases and construction projects
Manage application processes for foreign citizenship
All other responsibilities as requested by the client.
Some travel required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Executive-level experience in project management.
Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
Competent and proactive.
Thorough understanding of human resources and employment best-practices.
Trustworthy and always acting in the best interest of the principal.
Able to pass a thorough background investigation.
