Bloom Talent is Hiring an Office Manager at Fast-growing Series A Startup Near Los Angeles, CA

 Fast-growing Series A startup in the pet care space is looking for their first Office Manager to join their team. Growing organically year-over-year with plans to double in size by EOY, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to be the first of 50 employees and grow with the company! Manage daily office operations, act as a culture carrier, plan team offsites and events, assist with onboarding, and bring your eye for design to create a warm, welcoming office space. You will also help at local trade shows, manage their company apartment, and coordinate travel for international employees visiting. Someone with high energy, proactive, and ideally has been at an early-stage startup. This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles. They are in a WeWork in Playa Vista. 80-100K DOE 100% employee & dependent benefits and 401k with matching!
Responsibilities:
  • Manage office vendors, order supplies and snacks, and act as a point of contact for building management.
  • Act as point of contact for employee-related questions and assist with new employee onboarding.
  • Plan and organize team off-sites, happy hours, and events. Foster bonding and employee collaboration, acting as a culture carrier.
  • Be an instrumental partner in building out our office space, including room decorating and office maintenance.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the office and maintain supply inventory. Make sure everyone is happy and has what they need to be effective in their job.
  • Process daily incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Help foster a fun and happy company culture and add personal touches to make people feel appreciated in the office. 
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Help with trade show logistics and assist team onsite as needed.
  • Welcome guests and candidates coming into the office. 
  • Assist with booking travel and accommodations for international employees. Manage logistics for company apartment. 
Qualifications:
  • Previous 1-2 years of experience as an Office Manager or similar role in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Friendly, engaging, and embodies a positive outlook and attitude.
  • Passion to learn, contribute, and take initiative.
  • Tech savvy (knowledgeable of Google docs, Gmail, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Proactive and assertive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities; excel at anticipating needs.
  • Creative and effective problem-solving skills. 
  • Great taste for design and excited to act as a culture carrier for the team!
