We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented B2B SaaS Business Development Representative to join our dynamic Revenue Marketing team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential business opportunities, nurturing relationships with prospects, and driving revenue growth for our SaaS solution. Your primary goal will be to engage with key decision-makers, understand their business needs, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our SaaS product.

Responsibilities

  • Meet monthly and quarterly goals for meetings and activity metrics
  • Lead Generation: Conduct thorough market research and prospecting to identify potential clients within the B2B sector. Utilize various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking to generate leads.
  • Qualification: Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria, ensuring they align with our target customer profile. Evaluate prospects' needs, pain points, and budget to determine their fit for our SaaS solution.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts. 
  • Collaborative Approach: Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing department to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Gather insights and share relevant information with the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and enhance our competitive advantage.
  • Continuous Learning: Continuously enhance product knowledge, industry expertise, and sales skills through training sessions, workshops, and self-paced learning. Stay informed about new features and updates to effectively address customer inquiries and objections.
Qualifications
  • Proven 1 years experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusted relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective product demonstrations and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the media, publishing, or content-intensive industries is advantageous.
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
