Avispa Technology is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Austin, TX

Business Development Representative 1142

A leading enterprise software solutions company is seeking a Business Development Representative. The successful candidate will proactively research the market based on the desired partner profile, shortlist prospective partners, build relationships with new potential partners, and work closely with our Channel Managers in recruiting the selected partners. The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience in sales or business development or consulting, preferably in the technology industry. The company offers a great work environment.

Business Development Representative Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $30/hr
  • Worksite: Leading enterprise software solutions company (Austin, TX 78704, Dallas, TX 75034, Chicago, IL 60604, Pleasanton, CA 94588 or Atlanta, GA 30326 - Hybrid)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 10 Month Assignment

Business Development Representative Responsibilities:

  • Research
    • Research the market on companies that can potentially be good partners.
    • Due diligence on those companies - eg. capabilities, employees count, products, services etc.
    • Look into the competitive partner landscape.
    • Build a data set that can help make an informed decision.
    • Understand Partners’ business to decide on a fitment with our partner program.
    • Make recommendations to the team on the shortlist and prioritization.
  • Deal Making
    • Build contact and relationship with the CXOs of the prospective Partners.
    • Use your experience and consultative BD skills to pitch the program and show the value to the partners.
    • Build trust such that partners share their business details and engage with you.
    • Build business plans with interested partners.
    • Work with Channel Managers on signing the partnership and onboarding them.

Business Development Representative Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in sales or business development or consulting, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or commercial qualifications.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly motivated, tenacious and detail-oriented.
  • Knowledge of Financial SaaS products/industry wll be an advantage.
  • Additional European language is a plus (French/German, Dutch).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
