Job Summary:
WKK is a $600 million dollar contract electronics manufacturer based in Hong Kong, with manufacturing facilities in Southern China and Mexico. We provide electronics manufacturing services to well-known respected companies around the world, and are known for our commitment to quality. WKK builds a diverse range of electronic products that are sold into the automotive, telecom, medical, industrial, HVAC, and computer industries. We are currently looking for someone to join our North American Business Development team, based in our office in San Jose California. This position will primarily be responsible for customer development, and growth with both existing customers and new customers.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is a self-starter, enthusiastic, determined, and very tenacious in their approach to customer project and business growth development. Extensive contact with internal and external customers is required to obtain, clarify and coordinate the information among all relevant parties.
A background and understanding of the electronics manufacturing process, project management process, problem solving, and ability to work with various corporate level executives are all a strong plus. Travel in North America required.
· Responsible for development of key projects related to customer development and growth.
· Manages projects/programs under assigned Business Unit direction.
· Provides customer with WKK point of contact and interface. Coordinates customer goals internally, with various teams to ensure the production and schedule objectives are met and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
· Some Spanish language skills a plus.
· Some knowledge of IATF, VDA, and other automotive standards a plus.
· New business development skills a plus.
· Broad electronics manufacturing knowledge (i.e. materials, processes, test, logistics) are a plus.
