We are currently seeking Service/Project Managers or Service/Project Coordinators, all experience levels, to join our growing division in the Central Texas (Austin) area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary function: Lead, manage and oversee the operations for a Facility Technical Services Division, ensuring planned gross profit while delivering world-class customer service to clients.

Management/ Planning—

• Complete all work in a cost effective and high-quality manner by assuring proper staffing, training, tools, test equipment, systems, and procedures are in place.
• Organize work of others by position description and procedures; encourage mutual agreement on written objectives.
• Effectively audit performance of staff and follow-up. Recommend appropriate personnel actions (i.e., hiring, firing, promotion, compensation, etc.).
• Improve individual and group skills by developing and implementing programs to motivate and train employees.
• Ensure compliance with company standards. Customer complaints, estimate deviations, and progress must be reported in writing.
• Guide and observe employees in development, communication, and redemption of schedules. Resolve any schedule conflicts.
• Ensure maximum cash flow by regularly monitoring billings and taking action.

Sales Participation—

• Understand and keep staff informed of sales objectives. Monitor reporting of leads, sales opportunities, and upgrade of existing agreements within CRM.
• Provide support to the sales force on calls.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of pricing policies and procedures.

Field Productivity—

• Maximize output per labor hour by training, directing, and monitoring staff in providing materials, directions, tools, and logistical support to the field.
• Motivate staff and maintain high employee morale.
• Control labor costs by training and directing appropriate personnel.
• Have knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, and industry standards.
• Ensure permits are secured where applicable.
• Train and direct staff to offer design assistance to sales force as requested.
• Determine field labor requirements by establishing and monitoring guidelines.

Status Reporting—

• Manage regular status reporting/review meetings with staff and managers.
• Measure effectiveness of existing programs and recommend new methods or corrective action.
• Establish new policies and procedures as needed for efficiency and success.

Material and Expense Control and Purchasing—

• Ensure cost effective and efficient use of equipment, tools, and materials while ensuring efficient field operations; train and direct employees.
• Responsible for maintaining budget goals and analyzing performance plan.
• Annually review/analyze contracts for spending plan and re-pricing.
• Support the sales force in effectively selling price escalations.
• Guide and observe staff in the preparation of requisitions in a timely manner for materials, equipment, and subcontracts.

Customer Relations—

• Promptly respond to customer trouble calls and resolves problems immediately, while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Safety—

• Maintain awareness of and follow all Department of Labor regulations.
• Train all personnel on safety precautions and resolutions.

Special Projects—

• Provide support for any special projects. These special projects may become part of this position’s primary responsibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,270.04 - $66,561.77 per year
