Since opening our doors back in 2012, we have focused solely on residential remodeling in the San Francisco Bay Area, Southern California, Massachusetts, and in our Austin, Texas area. As a leader in the construction industry, we provide custom design-build renovation and use a comprehensive approach to offer a wide range of services for the projects we are involved with. Duties and Responsibilities:

Subcontractor Management:

  • Foster strong relationships with subcontractors.
  • Streamline daily updates and implement strategies to incentivize subcontractors for efficient project progression.

Communication Skills:

  • Craft clear and concise updates for clients, maintaining transparency and positive communication.
  • Keep clients informed and satisfied with project progress, even during periods of limited visible advancement.

Quality Control:

  • Anticipate client satisfaction levels through perceptive observation of the projects.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to enhance client satisfaction in the project process continually.

Project Manager Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless communication.
  • Hold project managers accountable for project progress and provide support as needed.

Dispute Resolution:

  • Act as a skilled mediator in resolving project-related disputes, fostering fair and positive outcomes.

Kind yet Assertive Communication:

  • Cultivate a professional and empathetic communication style within the context.
  • Address issues assertively while maintaining a positive and respectful tone.
  • Utilize customer service experience to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project process.

Future Project Planning:

  • Collaborate with clients to develop strategic plans for future projects.
  • Create a roadmap for upcoming projects, incorporating client input for successful execution.

Timeline Management:

  • Regularly review and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Proactively identify and address potential delays to expedite project progress.
  • Showcase time management skills to optimize project timelines.

Conflict Resolution Between Subs and PMs:

  • Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts between subcontractors and project managers.
  • Foster effective communication strategies to prevent and resolve project-related conflicts.

Critical Thinking:

  • Identify and prioritize crucial aspects of the projects to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Monitor construction departmental performance to address any challenges promptly.

Plan Review:

  • Collaborate with project managers to thoroughly review and understand floorplans.
  • Address discrepancies before construction plans are submitted for approval.

Cross-Referencing Plans:

  • Implement systematic processes for cross-referencing plans with internal databases.
  • Ensure quality control measures are in place to avoid mistakes and delays in the construction process

Daily Tasks :

1. Receive updates from all vendors related to the job on a daily bases and know how to expedite/incentivize him to move forward faster

2. Communication ability to phrase the information to the client and keep him informed and satisfied with progress, This will require creativity in how to phrase updates even when there isn’t a substantial progress

3. Quality control understanding from clients their satisfaction level currently, and put clients at ease. This is not asking clients a direct question of how satisfied they are but truly understanding from between the lines.

4. Know how to communicate to the project manager and assertively help the PM and hold accountable to the progress of the project starting from a job sold.

5. Deal with clients disputes and reach settlements.

6. ability to update in multiple softwares without making mistakes

7. need to have the ability to be kind yet assertive.

8. The ability to build a plan with the client for future projects

9. Ensure the project is on schedule timeline and help expedite if not meeting timeline.

10. Handle disputes between subs and PM’s

11. The ability to pinpoint crucial aspects of job and make sure relevant departments are performing

12. Review and study plans with the PM prior to submitting plans to the city.

13. Cross reference plans with corrections to the internal database to avoid mistakes and delays.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in construction project coordination or management.
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in customer relations/service.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex concepts to clients and team members.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting floor plans, ensuring accurate execution of project plans.
  • Advanced proficiency in G-Suite and Excel for precise project documentation and data analysis.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and optimize project timelines.
  • Experience in meeting project deadlines and managing multiple tasks concurrently.

Pay: From $56,000.00 per year
