SUMMARY
Our Project Managers manage large complex projects from beginning to completion with an emphasis on cost effectiveness and customer service. Must be able to work independently in situations that are fast-paced with frequent deadlines, constant interruptions and changing priorities in order to plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget.
Additionally, candidate should be able to estimate the cost of new projects with little to no assistance performing accurate quantity take-offs, developing cost estimates for labor, material and equipment. Metal Stud, Drywall, Stucco and Plaster Industry specific. Theme Construction Estimating a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Complete bid packages; develop scopes of work and pricing by communicating with subcontractors and suppliers, create and maintain project files and folders, and prepare Proposal letters. Procore project management and On Center Software (Quick Bid) user preferred.
Within each project team, you are responsible for the successful installation and completion of every job, to the absolute satisfaction of all of our customers, including but not limited to:
• Monitor actual labor time expended on projects quoted to ensure up-to-date knowledge of time requirements for various installation conditions and products.
• Perform special analysis and/or planning (site verification, phasing of product for order entry, etc.)
• Review Scope of Services form & project description to provide required detailed information & special requirements for the work orders to ensure clarity and understanding for lead installation personnel.
• Provide technical review of specifications upon request.
• Attend client project/construction meetings upon request to coordinate furniture installation activities with the activities and requirements of the contractor, client, and building management parties.
• Facilitate changes to scope of work and obtain approved change orders as needed.
• Oversee receiving and installation phases of project. Inspect quality of workmanship and ensure conformance to installation plans and installation standards.
• Develop and maintain client, customer and vendor relations.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook), PDF viewer/editor (Bluebeam preferred) and project management software (Procore preferred).
Minimum 2 years of Commercial Drywall or Commercial Plaster Experience, base Salary will depend on level of experience.
4 yr construction management degree or similar
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct and coordinate actions of multiple supporting positions within the project team.
