Primary Duties:
The Dealer Development Manager will work with the Strategic Distribution team to create and drive sales
initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Assists Strategic Distribution team in developing and managing the annual plans and budget.
Assists with overall budget process and strategic planning.
Assists with creation and distribution of quarterly sales programs to maximize retail sales.
Travels and participates in functions and events as needed.
Dealer Development
o Calling on and cultivating potential dealer leads
o Updating lead results by checking leads received by marketing (Updating the dealer lead form)
o Follow up with dealer leads and setting up meetings.
o Receiving dealer leads from Marketing and reviewing leads for possible candidates and update
the lead results.
o Dealer documentation preparation (Dealer Agreement & Addendums)
o Assist Legal with preparing documents.
o Assist Finance with preparing documents.
o Collecting documents from dealers.
o Prepare dealer profiles for new dealers.
o Reports
Updating the Hyundai dealer list report
Updating the Dealer Status report
Creating retail activity maps (based on warranty registrations in Map Business Online)
Dealer Score Card, CIMS, DMS Software Development
o Dealer Score Card - Dealer performance evaluation tool
o CIMS - Customer Information Management System (End User Database
Prospect and cultivate new national accounts to grow direct rental and direct national account channels.
Accountable for maintaining all HCE-NA agreements with national account customers.
Other duties:
Other duties and functions appropriate to the position as assigned by the manager from time to time.
Work environment and other requirements:
The work environment is a non-smoking office environment. No heavy lifting required. Mostly sitting with
computer and phone usage. Accommodation can be made for handicapped employees. Travel expectation is
15%.
