As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide technical support to end users, customers, and third-party contractors. You will be hybrid and report to the Customer Solutions Manager.

You Will:
  • Use Enterprise Application Software and CRM Systems to document and manage service functions.
  • Contract and provide technical product support and guidance to third-party service contractors.
  • Help coordinate service work done by authorized service agents.
  • Work with the regional Sales staff and authorized service agencies to resolve customer issues.
  • Work in a team-oriented call-center support environment.
  • Communicate at different levels of the organization both internally & externally.
  • Collaborate with other departments on understanding and resolving problems.
  • Minimal travel may be required for training and customer support.
  • After-hours on-call technical support on a rotating basis.
  • Collect, organize, analyze information.
You Have:
  • Associates Degree or equivalent preferred, 5 years' experience in the water heating and boiler industry, Field service coordination/project management experience
  • Experience working with and troubleshooting complex systems, preferably in HVAC or plumbing.
  • Read electrical wiring diagrams and knowledge of the same
  • Mechanical experience with resolving product performance issues.
  • Ability to work on several ongoing projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient personal computer and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Customer service focus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. You must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job responsibilities outside the typical office setting.
