    To support students by coordinating CCMR, Social and Emotional Learning, and community engagement services at the campus level. In addition to SEL and Family Engagement, the SSC will also communicating college, career, and military readiness program information to stakeholders. Coordinate and track campus facilitation of alternative graduation options while organizing individual campus audits to ensure accuracy of Individual Graduation Committee (IGC) records. Communicate with former students, assess records, and collaborate with various departments.
    Qualifications:
    Education/Certification:
    • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Education and/or Behavorial Sciences Field
    Special Knowledge/Skills:
    • General knowledge of elementary and secondary guidance and counselling programs.
    • Knowledge of Texas graduation requirements and support services for secondary students.
    • Knowledge of college/career advisement, including Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, and college entrance examinations.
    • Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Strong computer skills, including knowledge and proficient use of all Microsoft Office programs.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years working directly students in the school setting
    • Experience working with the district’s student information system (SIS) preferred
    • Experience analyzing, processing, and reporting complex data sets preferred
    Job Summary:

    • Support partnerships among schools, parents, and community to improve academic achievement
    • Facilitate family involvement and school partnerships to foster student achievement
    • Create opportunities for parents to receive opportunities to enhance students’ learning environment
    • Develop strong formal community relationships with outside partners and adopters
    • Creates instructional materials for schools, students, and parents that support home/school connections
    • Provide Social Emotional Learning Support for Students
    • Provide support/mentoring/coaching/training for identified teachers
    • Assist in conducting comprehensive needs assessments to identify teaching and
    Learning needs, utilizing SEL problem-solving strategies
    • Assist in providing training and coaching with best practices in MTSS to meet
    Student's social and emotional need
    • Facilitate protocols for RP at the campus including conducting intake assessments,
    screeners etc.
    • Coordinate and Support CCMR for all students at assigned campus/es
    • Prepares and distributes CCMR reports to campus counselors and campus leaders.
    • Assist campuses with monitoring and reviewing student academic records to ensure adherence to appropriate state accountability standards for college, career, and military readiness.
    • Coordinate and ensure senior exit surveys are completed for college, career, and military readiness.
    • Assist with monitoring PEIMS data collection to ensure accurate HB3 student outcomes bonus reimbursement and appropriate data submission to TEA.
    • Assist with evaluating, verifying and reporting CCMR indicators for campus and district accountability and federal grant reporting.
    4. Case Management
    • Identify, support, and monitor targeted student groups.
    Working Conditions:
    Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions, prolonged use of computer. May be required to perform job duties including ability to conduct instruction, attend meetings and professional development, and make and receive phone calls in a virtual or remote workplace environment.
