Administrative Assistant (Legal Experience)

Pay: $26.00/HR-$29.00/HR

We are partnering with a fast paced plaintiff's construction defect Law firm that is looking to add and Administrative Assistant with legal experience to their team!

This role is responsible for the coordination of all the details before and after depositions, hearings, mediations, trial or arbitration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-claim investigation and case information research and initial case assessments
• Draft pleadings, motions and file them with the court
• Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc.)
• Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
• Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices
• Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
• Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
• Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties
• Provide assistance with case settlements
