What will you be doing? • Greeting and assisting all visitors to the Human Resources office.
• Updates hotel postings and bulletin boards
• Maintain department files and filing systems
• Coordinate People Pleaser of the Month receptions, collect nominations, send invitations, and order the awards
• Assists in preparation of all associate events (including associate recognition events, holiday parties, associate meetings, etc.).
• Assists with preparation of training classes.
• Respond to all unemployment requests
• Assist with special projects, trainings, and hotel events as needed
• Assist associates with general HR questions
• Coordinating hourly annual performance appraisal processes
• Assists with reviewing and screening all applicants across all job boards.
• Schedules meetings and interviews as requested.
• Coordinates all new hire paperwork and is the main point of contact for the hourly onboarding process
What will you bring to the role? - Associates Degree in Human Resources or any other business or communication related major
- Four Year Degree in Human Resources Management or any other business related major preferred
- Prior experience in Human Resources, Hospitality or Customer Service fields
- Ability to file accurately
- Ability to work independently with high level of confidence
- High degree of organization and motivation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Basic knowledge of employment related issues
- English/Spanish bilingual oral and written communication preferred
