The League for People with Disabilities Inc is Hiring a Human Resources Specialist Near Baltimore, MD
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews, and issuing pre-employment screenings.
- Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department.
- Managing the monthly new hire orientations
- Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications
- Organize and participate in external and internal recruitment activities, including attending job fairs..
- Assist in planning and organizing employee engagement activities.
- Demonstrate the 5 Core Values of The League (Accountability, Participant Focus, Quality, Independence, and Mutual Respect).
- Operationalize the mission of The League for People with Disabilities by creating a supportive environment for participants and staff.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the V.P., Human Resources & Compliance
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding employee and participant information.
- The ability to work with diverse populations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent computer, internet, and Social Media skills.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent coursework required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Human Resources
- Paycor experience preferred.
