We will be quick to respond to our customers and use “Red Truck Service” when additional assistance is needed.Job Responsibilities: Job SummaryThe Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for providing quality candidates to all store locations, new locations and Support Center – Home Office/Warehouse. The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for actively and passively recruiting candidates to fill all open positions, participating in initiatives to help develop, retain, and attract top candidates and being an overall partner to their assigned store locations. Duties/ResponsibilitiesServe customers, associates, vendors and partners while modeling Sendik’s culture and providing “best in class” customer serviceSource candidates, conduct interviews and fill open positions efficiently and effectively with top talentTrack hiring needs and recruiting resultsPost open positions on appropriate sitesParticipate in passive and active recruiting strategiesMaintain applications and correspond with candidatesConduct phone interviews and in person interviews at job fairs with candidates for all store locations, new store locations, and the Support Center – Home Office/WarehouseAdvises hiring managers and consults on candidates as neededAssist with planning and executing of various HR programs that seek to develop , engage and retain current associates and attract new candidatesManage the onboarding experience for new hires, being the point of contact for new hires including orientation as well as various touch points throughout the new hire onboarding process Answers candidate and new hire questions around benefit offerings and reinforces Sendik’s commitment to being a best place to workReview standard operating procedures and practices; proactively seeks ways to improve upon current programs, procedures and processesRemains up-to-date in recruiting, onboarding, engagement and retention trends to best serve our associatesAssist in the stores during peak holiday seasons as neededComplete other miscellaneous duties as assigned QualificationsDemonstrated success in a high volume, Human Resources recruiting role preferred BA/BS degree in Human Resources or a related fieldKnowledge of Federal and Wisconsin labor lawsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interact effectively with individuals at all levels, internally and externallyStrong analytical and decision-making skillsFamiliarity with automated applicant tracking systems (e.g., Dayforce, Phenom, etc.) and the use of social media in recruiting a plusProficient in computer programs such as Word, Excel and Google DocsStrong communication and problem-solving skills; strong continuous improvement mindsetStrong sense of security and ability to handle sensitive informationExcellent attention to detailExcellent time management, prioritization and organization skillsAbility to work at a fast paced and efficient mannerStrong sense of team – ability to anticipate the needs of the teamAbility to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
