Job Purpose:
The Business Development Manager will develop relationships within target customer to penetrate organization and open doors to new business opportunities in Californiaand surrounding geographic territories.
Nature of Duties:
Education and Experience:
BA or BS qualified, MBA preferred
*10 years' sales experience successfully exceeding quota with revenue responsibilities of $10M preferred
*Strong financial acumen. Appreciates the value of proprietary data in decision-making. Ability to find opportunities to maximize revenue and profit while still satisfying customer expectations.
*Exceptional understanding of profit and loss, margin, cost drivers, profit drivers, and overall costing and quoting processes that lead to profitable sales capture.
*Knowledge of CM/EMS industry with background in Manufacturing with an understanding of global Supply Chains
*Well rounded experience in high-tech applications; communications, industrial, medical, military, alternate energy market segments
-Highly motivated with entrepreneurial attitude and outlook, strong work ethics with high level of integrity
-Demonstrable success in developing and winning new accounts.
*Excellent MS Office skills
*Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal and closing skills
*Experience working with vast remote cross-functional teams in large matrix organizations
*Project management skills are desired with excellent ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize
-Overnight travel as required

Salary Range(annual): $80,000 - $100,000 plus incentive
