RTS Labs is Hiring an Account Manager Near Richmond, VA

Description

We’re Looking for Candidates Who Have:

  • A customer-centric, consultative mindset
  • Exceptional business acumen - encompassing the ability to think strategically and tactically, and translate business objectives into technology solutions 
  • Business development experience - scoping innovative approaches to clients’ technology challenges and guiding opportunities through a (sometimes) complex, multi-step sales process
  • Executive presence consisting of strong communication skills, a desire to build and maintain relationships with executive-level leaders, and the ability to serve in a strategic advisor capacity 
  • Proven they can thrive in a fast-paced, self-motivated, entrepreneurial environment 
  • 8 years experience in consulting, account management, or sales with a technology company and/or working closely with technology solutions (You don’t have to be a tech genius, but you do have to have basic knowledge of how it all works.)

Here’s what the day-to-day life of an Account Manager on our Client Services Team looks like:

  • Building & Maintaining Client Relationships - The Account Manager's primary objective is to establish trusting relationships with clients. Our clients chose RTS because we are honest, we shoot straight, we are proactive, and they know we always have their best interests at heart. In this role, you would be responsible for the end-to-end customer experience, checking in to monitor progress, making sure their concerns are addressed, and that they are keenly aware of how much we truly value them.
  • Growing Client Accounts - Once a client has chosen to partner with RTS, it’s our goal to keep that client turning to us for all their technology solutions. Through building trusting relationships, successful Account Managers serve as strategic technology advisors to our clients. As keen observers and listeners, Account Managers are able to identify needs and proactively present solutions to meet our clients’ business demands. 
  • Documenting & Disseminating Information - The Account Manager will oversee the process of documenting key project objectives and outcomes. In collaboration with our engineering and product owner teams, the Client Services Consultant will create statements of work for discovery, development, and support projects, communicate details to clients and project teams, and ensure this key information is disseminated across the organization.
  • Project Leadership - the Account Manager will play an integral role in ensuring clients’ business objectives are met and that the RTS team is performing optimally. This involves providing strategic oversight on client projects, as well as assessing project health and team performance along with the Project Manager.
