Plan International USA is in the process of establishing the organizational strategy for FY23-27, in-line with the global strategy that has recently been rolled out, which includes ambitions to strengthen the USG funding portfolio to help support our global mission to advance girls’ rights.
To support our USG portfolio, Plan International USA is seeking a Business Development Manager to join a growing soon-to-be 8-person BD team. The BD Manager will coordinate and support USG proposals, across both the humanitarian and development funding streams, with a particular focus on humanitarian funding, working closely with technical colleagues and colleagues in our country-offices to ensure that high-quality, compliant and competitive proposals are submitted.
With a good understanding of USG funding mechanisms, the BD Manager will coordinate and support business development efforts across the business development cycle. Working closely with the colleagues in the BD team the BD Manger will also support the implementation of the BD strategy, helping to ensure Plan International USA is well-positioned with the USG and potential partners.
The BD Manager will have a successful track record working on competitive USG proposals (in particular PRM and BHA, but experience also could include USAID, DOL, and DOS) and forming strong relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external).
