Netcare Corporation is Hiring an Outpatient Administrative Assistant Near Columbus, OH

Schedule: 9:00a-5:000p, Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri & 12:00p-8:00p on Wed

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Administrative Assistant provides a range of clinical and administrative support services to clients and staff of the outpatient clinic. They will report to the Director of Outpatient and assist in the day to day operations. As well as; conducts client interviews, manages data collection and follow up, and coordinates with internal health care providers to optimize service outcomes. Promotes agency-wide focus on results, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

1. Conducts clinical interviews and provides supportive psychoeducation to clients and their participating social support persons to identify needs and progress on goals.

2. Obtains basic physical health indicators and vital signs from patient or medical record.

3. Participates in Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Quality Review committee meetings, keeping minutes and distributing as needed.

4. As needed, assists outpatient clinic team members in follow up on action steps between meetings.

5. Implements standardized measurement tools to obtain data on social determinants of health.

6. Shares relevant clinical information with treatment providers to address individual needs and influence the focus of treatment.

7. Enters data into SPARS Data Entry system, maintains records, and monitors timelines.

8. Documents all client contacts in electronic health record within a 24-hour period.

9. Maintains familiarity with and handles client information in accordance with Federal Regulations (42 CFR, Part 2) and other applicable laws pertaining to confidentiality of client and staff information.

10. Maintains physical security of confidential materials and assigned Agency property.

11. Performs relevant clinical and administrative tasks across multiple locations, including the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team when necessary.

12. Participates in team meetings and program development.

13. Attends Performance Improvement Meetings on a regular scheduled basis.

14. Provides information and education to community members.

15. Maintains high standards of professional conduct in interaction with clients, staff and other community members.

16. Maintains professional competency through a program of professional development and in-service training.

17. Facilitates I-EVAL data collection.

18. PHQ-9 collection at time of referral call and triage

19. Facilitate NOMS data collection at intake; 6-months; 12-months; 18-months and discharge. Engage clients to complete NOMS.

20. Updating client demographic information as necessary.

21. Performs other duties as assigned.

2. Demonstrates flexibility in adapting to changing work demands to meet client needs.

6. Organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.

7. Basic computer knowledge and clinical recordkeeping experience

8. Understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.

9. Ability to set limits, confront behaviors and redirect.

10. ability to assess, teach and model skill development techniques

11. Ability to provide and maintain a professional relationship with individual clients and their families, which allows for mutual respect, consistency and empathy in all interactions

12. Ability to communicate effectively with superiors, subordinate staff, other agencies, and the public.

13. Ability to work independently and use sound judgement in problem solving.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience providing direct service in the field of human services or minimum one year experience providing direct services with persons experiencing severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders. Medical background preferred (i.e. CNA, EMT, MA, LPN). Strong computer skills and comfort with basic Office applications including MS Excel. Must have valid Ohio driver’s license and be able to clear the auto insurance screening, if necessary, through the independent insurance carrier and/or if driving own vehicle the minimum state liability coverage is required.
