Nationwide Children's Hospital is Hiring a Senior Compensation Analyst Near Columbus, OH

Overview

The Senior Compensation Consultant is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the administration of Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) compensation programs and supporting compensation/benefits related HRIS functions. Works with multiple lines of business, internal and external, to evaluate various programs in order to enhance current offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts job evaluations utilizing internal and external salary statistics, and proposes recommendations on appropriate classifications and pay bands while handling highly confidential employee data.
  • Works with department leaders to create and apply employee compensation and incentive plans to maintain and attract talent.
  • Recommends and assists in the development and implementation of appropriate employee compensation structures.
  • Performs compensation related duties such as salary survey completion, annual wage & salary budget survey, and competing vendor information requests.
  • Communicates with and counsels managers and talent acquisition partners regarding compensation policy and assists in making appropriate changes in HRIS system.
  • Interacts with all levels of hospital staff to resolve problems, gather information and provide assistance in compensation & benefit related matters.
  • Ensures Compliance with federal and state regulations and laws.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills require. Demonstrated problem-solving and strong analytical skills. Strong attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office. High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.

Experience:

  • Three to five years of human resources/compensation experience, preferably in a health care setting.
