Leading commercial GC in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand their buiness into the Orlando market. They are looking for someone to be boots on the ground and grow their book of business with clients in the self-storage, industrial, retail, and other commercial spaces.

Description

The key responsibilities of this Business Development Manager - Commercial Construction will be:

• Be the face of the organization and promote the company to clients and partners
• Ensure the organization's general economic and financial conditions are taken into consideration to ensure the company's goals are met and matched with available resources
• Identify new opportunities to increase market share and company revenue
• Identify, approach and secure new business opportunities to ensure the organization's targets are met
• Ensure the organization's existing client relationships are enhanced even further
• Provide support to operations team to ensure existing clients are engaged and happy with the service they are receiving
• Work with the wider team to ensure the marketing materials they have compliment the service the organization is offering
• Strategic involvement with business development plan and networking with appropriate organizations and clients
• Report directly to senior management team

Profile

• Construction experience in warehouses and self storage
• Construction experience in retail and office spaces
• Construction experience in tilt wall or tilt up
• Construction experience in industrial construction preferred
• Prove consistent work history
• 5 years of experience working in the construction industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge in Construction Management or related field, preferred
• Proven track record of succesfully leading a commercial construction team
• Ability to be "boots on the ground" to help quickly grow a book of business
