Pastry Chef

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee kitchen personnel training and coordinate culinary activities
• Estimate food consumption and manage food requisitions/purchases
• Develop and standardize recipes to ensure consistent quality
• Set presentation standards and menu pricing, emphasizing quality and innovation
• Maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring proper operation and sanitation
• Supervise special catering events and provide culinary instruction or demonstrations as needed

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent
• Culinary degree preferred
• Advanced knowledge of culinary principles and practices
• Experience in personnel and problem management
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Candidate Must Have:

• 2-3 years of experience in a pastry chef role
• Catering experience is essential
• High-volume experience is required

Additional Information:

• Culinary Degree preferred but not required

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
