**Position: Pastry Chef**

**Job Description:** Pastry Chef

We are seeking a creative and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods. You will work closely with the culinary team to develop new recipes, create visually appealing presentations, and ensure high-quality products are consistently delivered to our customers.

**Responsibilities:** Pastry Chef

- Prepare a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods, including cakes, cookies, pies, and bread

- Create new and innovative dessert recipes that align with current trends and customer preferences

- Decorate and present pastries and desserts in an attractive and appealing manner

- Ensure all products meet quality and consistency standards

- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed

- Train and supervise pastry assistants and other kitchen staff

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

**Qualifications:** Pastry Chef

- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role

- Extensive knowledge of pastry arts and techniques

- Creative and innovative approach to pastry and dessert creation

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Certification from a culinary school or apprenticeship program is a plus

**Requirements:**

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects

- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Catering experience

High volume production experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
