Full-Time Onsite Position!

Our Award Winning Client is seeking a talented Quality Manager to join their team. Our client, a nationally recognized company with numerous awards for excellence, is looking for an experienced individual to lead their Quality department.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of site-specific Quality Systems and Food Safety Plans, focusing on strategies, policies, and direction to enhance business protection, reduce variation, and promote growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company Quality Standards, as well as local, governmental, and international Quality and EOHS Regulatory standards and guidelines. Collaborate with agencies to address and resolve any issues.
  • Oversee the Cleaning & Sanitization process and environmental performance of the facility, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Report critical Quality system metrics both internally and externally to relevant stakeholders.
  • Own the robustness of key Quality Systems, including Incoming Component & Finished Product Inspection & Release, Validation, Corrective Actions Preventive Actions (CAPA), Change Control, Internal Audits, Laboratory Management, and Documentation Management.
  • Develop and execute the site's Quality Audit program to ensure conformity with standards, regulatory requirements, and cGMPs. Lead Continuous Improvement plans to address audit findings.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies such as AIB, FDA, USDA, and customers during audits, ensuring smooth and successful interactions.
  • Spearhead consumer satisfaction programs, including consumer complaint tracking and reducing plant controllable complaints.
  • Coordinate Performance Management activities, providing coaching, feedback, and effective career development and planning for team members.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects with other plant managers and Corporate Quality to drive operational excellence.
  • Prepare operating budgets for variable and fixed overheads for the Quality Team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, or a technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/plant operations environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or related field.
  • Validated experience conducting and facilitating effective Failure Investigations, Corrective and Preventive Actions, Notices of Deviation, and Change Documentation management.
  • Direct experience and active participation in an Audit Inspection by a Regulatory Agency.
  • Proficient Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and SPC.
  • Knowledge of AIB, SQF, USDA, and FSMA regulations.

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
