The Human Resources Business Partner will support operations and provides HR advice to Business Managers on a range of complex labor relations issues and strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Support and coach management in the handling of human resource and labor relations issues
- Ensure compliance with US laws and regulations including policies, procedures, and contract compliance
- Prepare case exhibits and conduct and/or participate in settlement discussions or hearings
- Prepare informational training programs regarding union related topics, such as do’s and don’ts, best practices, etc., handbooks/manuals, data analytic reports
- Support management during collective bargaining
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources or Business or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in human resources
- 5 years of experience supporting labor relations within a unionized environment
- Excellent communication and ability to articulate complex solutions to issues to management within the organization.
