We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to become a part of team! You will be responsible for managing HR activities for the organization.
Under the direct supervision of Head of Human Resources, HR Generalist assists with issues regarding employee relations, answer questions about insurance and other benefits available to employee, handle concerns, issues and complains, and maintain proper records of employees. Processing of payroll in a timely manner and according to the company policy must be observed. HR Generalist is involved in recruiting, hiring, and terminating employees.
Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities
Assist Head of HR on daily tasks
• Process payroll with all tasks every two weeks
• Ensure time off forms are submitted and accounted for before processing of payroll
• Establish a filing system and structure of the company (employee-related)
• Establish an HR database for head count
• Maintain records and files of employees
• Enroll employees to insurance, retirement plan, 401K, and Café plan
• Make changes on insurance and retirement plan during open enrollment months
• Make and implement forms, policies, and procedures (employee handbook)
• Resolve employees' complaints and concerns/issues
• Improve manager and employee performance by performing investigation such as identifying the problems, evaluate potential solution, implement agreed solution
• Coach, counsel, advise employees and managers on needed actions
• Hire employees directly and thru use of agencies available
• Organize trainings, keep track of progress, and place certificate of completion in their files
• Provide assistance and guidance to employees applying for Unemployment Insurance, FMLA, and other excused medical leave
• Follow-up information, details, and other concerns that requiring the attention of Head of HR
• Organize Organization Chart for the company
• Ensure proper documentation for all new-hire employees
• Provide onboarding to new-hire employees
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
Other Responsibilities
Arrange meetings with employees and managers to resolve issues
• Arrange interviews with managers when receptionist is unavailable or as needed
• Constant communication with employees assigned to different state or traveling
• Provide assistance to general questions of employees relating to their job description
• Answer emails and phone calls in a timely manner
• Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or certification
• 2 experience in a related field
• 2 Payroll experience
• Able to demonstrate complete understanding of the position
• Can analyze and present information that is understood by everyone within the organization
• Well organized and methodical in approach to problem solving
• Able to manage and maintain database and records
• Understand legalities of business law in relation to HR, employee employment rights and how to apply them
• Must know how to make and implement policies and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to quickly learn programs and websites pertinent to the position
