WHAT YOU'LL DO

Employees in this class provide executive level administrative support requiring long range planning skills and the ability to coordinate the completion of multiple tasks or projects within established time frames. Incumbents may be assigned to perform several of the functions of the Administrative Specialist level, but are generally assigned to more complex work involving independent planning, coordinating, and completing special assignments as directed, to include performing research and developing written presentations. Incumbents at this level are capable of representing their supervisor at various meetings, forums, etc. Position is distinguished from that of Administrative Assistant II by greater complexity and broader range of responsibilities, depending on the size of department of assignment and volume of work processed.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

At a minimum, the selected candidate must have an Associate’s degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience providing administrative support functions. Additionally, the preferred candidate will have an Associate’s degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of four (4) years of related experience providing executive level administrative support requiring long range planning skills and demonstrated independent judgment. The preferred candidate will also have the ability to utilize or learn new applications i.e. Office 365 applications and Adobe Acrobat & Adobe Sign, etc.
