In search of a Chef De Cuisine to work directly with the Culinary Director to open the restaurant, create weekly menu specials, recipes, cost, ordering.
Upon opening they will be open 6 days a week for dinner, adding a 7th day and Brunch on the weekends once the restaurant is fully operating.
Chef De Cuisine
- 8 years of experience in the kitchen at French, Italian, Spanish, Mediterranean establishments
- Knowledge and proven track record of French cuisine, all basics such as braised meat, stocks, beurre blanc
- Will assist with expo and plating
- Experience managing a team of 15 and 200 covers per day
- Experience with fresh, local produce
- Good temper, excited about the project, in for the adventure
- Will be #1 Chef on-site when Culinary Director is not in DC, working directly with GM for successful operation
- $90k benefits, salary increase after 3 months of success with company ($70k salary for someone wanting to relocate to DC with apartment provided)
