We are searching for a Chef de Cuisine who would be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day optimal and efficient performance of the kitchen and assisting the Executive Chef.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years of experience in a Chef de Cuisine capacity or for a similar caliber concept
• Must have 5 years of experience in ITALIAN Cuisine
• Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts, or a similar subject
• Ability to utilize software programs such as (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint),
• Polished personal presentation;
• Attends and/or organizes meetings including staff meetings, leadership meetings, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maximizes profitability of the culinary department by implementing effective food
• Costs all recipes regularly to ensure profitability targets are achieved
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Manages Sous Chef, cooks, and porters in their responsibilities
• Hires, train, supervise, manage, coach, counsel, and evaluate culinary team
• Oversees performance review process for all culinary employees
