Minimun-Anticipated Maximun Salary : $45,000- $60,000/Year

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project a willing, urgent, “can do” attitude
• Enhance Quality Assurance Standards
• Promote safety awareness and practice safe work
• Ability to investigate and analyze information and make logical decisions
• Ability to make decisions in the best interest of the hotel
• Support and comply with the hotel’s policies and procedures
• Achieve productivity goals as assigned 
• Enhance the “guest experience” by making a positive contribution
• Effectively communicate with supervisor and co-workers
• Participate in department meetings as appropriate for a successful operation
• Maintain high employee morale through effective communication and interaction
• Effect fair and consistent discipline
• Ensure a consistent high service and product for out guests through training
• Function as needed to ensure the smooth running of the hotel’s operation
• Participate in all Hotel and departmental meetings

Qualifications

• Three years' culinary arts experience, including previous experience in a management role. More specifically experience in high-volume, quality-oriented restaurant or banquets department.
• Excellent volume cooking skills, presentation skills, and palette.
• Strong leadership and management skills working with a variety of associates of different skill levels and varied backgrounds.
• Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, and the kitchen computer production system.
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral, and good listening skills.
• Ability to handle many tasks at once and effectiveness in a fast-paced work environment.
• Thoroughness, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
• Good decision-making and ability to proactively make changes as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with associates, management, clients, and vendors if necessary.
• Ability to work flexible schedule to accommodate business levels.
