Summary

As a key player in our client’s team, you will plan, execute, and assess field sales activities in an assigned territory. This role targets commercial, hospitality, and luxury residential.

Currently live in or around NYC to easily navigate

Ability to get in front of industry decisions makers

Proven track record of winning greenfield accounts

Location

Remote opportunity: candidate must reside in or around New York, NY

10 to 30% travel to trade shows, manufacturing plants, and customer visits

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new customers, real estate developers, general contractors, and construction management firms, targeting the highest-level decision makers.
  • Utilize resources and programs to penetrate existing customers at the highest level further.
  • Own key subcontractor/plumber relationships.
  • Work with distributor partners to maintain and support specifications throughout the quotation and shipping process.
  • Manage individual projects from the quote process to the final delivery of the product.
  • Work with supply chain on demand planning for large projects.
  • Team up with your colleagues as you will own multiple customers on a project.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Sales, Business Administration, or Marketing
  • 3 years of sales experience with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results is required, along with a consistent level of performance as a sales professional meeting or exceeding objectives
  • Must possess excellent skills in written and oral communication with all levels of management and with outside contacts
