Manufacturing Philadelphia-based company is seeking a capable and highly motivated individual for the position of F/T Accounts Payable Coordinator.
Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for receiving and processing payments of vendor invoices timely and accurately. Coordinator will review, validate, and process a high volume of invoices into the accounts payable software platform. Will also perform onboarding of new vendors including requesting form W-9 information, keying into the system, internal notifications, etc.
Reporting to the Controller will be fully responsible for our accounts payable process including coding, processing invoices with and without purchase orders and cutting & mailing paper checks via our our accounts payable system. ACH Payments to be implemented by year-end.
Meticulous attention to detail is critical to ensure invoices are associated with the correct vendor, proper g/l accounts are used, as well as applicable signatures
Communicate with co-workers, management, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner
Additional responsibilities include assisting with month-end close, such as research for account reconciliation, expense analysis, and other projects, as needed.
Skills and Qualifications Required: Minimum of 2 years’ direct experience with AP Processing, including Purchase Order invoicing and approved invoices.
Bachelor or Associate degree in accounting or equivalent from a college or technical school or equivalent education and experience.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work independently
Understanding and demonstrating the highest standards in ethical conduct, creditability, and integrity
Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
