- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM, in office
- Pay Rate: $22.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Contract role with opportunity to go permanent.
Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description:
- The AP Specialist is responsible for accounts payable processes that will include Yardi P2P (Procure to Pay), Pay Scan, Bill Pay, Vendor Café, and aspects of Yardi RentCafe software.
- Perform daily expense coding of Full Service P2P, and input/import of mailed vendor bills and invoice backup upon receipt – with responsibility to track and document all vendor bills entered in Yardi Bill Pay Dashboard.
- Update and maintain accounts payable templates and ensure accurate Full Service P2P entries. Prioritize invoices according to payment terms.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors – responding to all vendor billing inquiries. Setup new vendors, templates, and vendor expense types. Maintain updated database of vendor information, including IRS form W-9 for all vendors. Run preliminary 1099 reports in preparation of IRS filing requirements.
Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:
- 3-5 years of related experience within accounting.
- Experience with Yardi Software is required.
- Strong knowledge within Excel.
