We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an AP Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, from invoice processing to payment disbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payment to vendors
• Verify invoice details, including quantities, prices, and terms
• Reconcile discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice inquiries and payment status
• Prepare and process electronic payments, such as ACH transfers and wire transfers
• Maintain vendor records and ensure accuracy of vendor information
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in accounts payable

Qualifications:

• 2 years of Accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Proven experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
