Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Miami Gardens, Florida

Job Description: Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working with numbers? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team in Miami Gardens, Florida? We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance department.

Responsibilities:

1. Invoice Processing: Receive and process invoices accurately and timely, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
2. Payment Processing: Prepare and execute payment batches, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers, while maintaining accurate records.
3. Vendor Management: Maintain vendor accounts, including updating contact information, resolving discrepancies, and communicating payment status.
4. Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding issues.
5. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing accounts payable reports and analyses for management review.
6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal controls related to accounts payable processes.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Previous experience in accounts payable or a related field preferred.
2. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
3. Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
5. Team Player: Collaborative attitude and willingness to support team members as needed.
6. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and experience with accounting software preferred.
