Arrowstreet Inc. is Hiring a Remote Human Resources

10 Years

We are seeking a Human Resources professional to provide guidance with all aspects of Human Resource operations.

The ideal candidate must be able to exercise independent judgement to handle multiple priorities, be detail-oriented, curious, and possess problem-solving and analytical skills. To succeed in the role, candidates should have strong communication and organization skills and be a cooperative team member willing to advance the goals of Arrowstreet. This position will report and be directed by the Chief Operations Officer.

The selected candidate will be responsible for setting, administering, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices. You will help identify and implement long-range strategic talent management goals. This flexible hybrid position will support company culture helping the firm to evolve and support the future of work.

General Human Resources

  • Serve as a point of contact and support employees, managers, and executive leadership on personnel issues
  • Continually inform employees and managers of employment law updates and requirements, recommend policy and procedure changes
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly
  • Driving and coordination of team building activities
  • Employee investigations and fact finding, progressive discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
  • Conduct exit interviews with employees

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

  • Promote a culture of fairness, equity, and opportunities for advancement
  • Support and respond to employee requests for support under Americans with Disabilities act

Employment and Staffing

  • Promote programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Assist with recruitment for open positions from a diverse pool of applicants
  • Support hiring managers in the recruitment, interviewing, and vetting of candidates for employment

Classification, Compensation and Compliance

  • Conduct periodic review of organization compensation structure
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Serve as Sexual Harassment Prevention Officer

Training and Professional Development

  • Evaluate current process and recommend improvements for annual performance reviews
  • Recommend, plan, and implement staff training
  • Coordinate and ensure access to mandatory and auxiliary training
  • Evaluate completed performance reviews and 4-month check-ins and identify trends & lessons learned for firm leaders.

Benefits and Leaves Administration

  • Manage and implement employee perks and benefits
  • Coordinate FMLA

Future of Work

  • Assist in developing and implement policies and procedures that support employee hybrid work schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills
  • At least ten (10) years in an HR related role working across multiple facets of Human Resources (including compliance, training, personnel)
  • Ability to engage and develop relationships with employees
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work under pressure and perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Understanding of the importance/commitment to diversity initiatives, including shaping and developing a positive, inclusive, diverse, and supportive workplace culture
  • Ability to prepare and handle confidential documents and sensitive information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook
