Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences
- Assist with project coordination by organizing and maintaining project files and documents
- Transcribe notes and documents accurately
- Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Skills:
- Computer literacy: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
- Customer service: Ability to provide exceptional service to clients and visitors
- Project coordination: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Data entry: Accurate and efficient data entry skills
- Clerical: Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment
- Transcribe: Ability to transcribe notes or recordings accurately
- Proofreading: Attention to detail to identify errors in written documents
- Medical receptionist (optional): Familiarity with medical terminology and experience in a medical office setting
- Typing: Fast and accurate typing skills
- Phone etiquette: Professional phone manner with excellent communication skills
